Navigating the Value of Intangible Assets

In this presentation, we will discuss what makes an intangible asset and how these assets are identified and valued. Exploring the topic further, we will also discuss strategies around capitalizing and transferring these assets with some case studies as examples.
Richard Reynolds has over 13 years of experience performing business valuations for estate planning, fair value accounting, and exit planning purposes. He has been involved in over 1,000 appraisals spread across more than 150 industries. Starting his career in Silicon Valley with a boutique valuation firm, Mr. Reynolds now resides in Vancouver, Washington operating his own practice, Silverpine Group, and specializes in valuations of businesses, minority interests, intangible assets, and complex securities. Mr. Reynolds graduated from University of Oregon with a major in accounting and later received his Master of Science in Finance from Waseda University in Tokyo, Japan.
